Must Have Color Tools

for the Non-Designer

 

Good design does not have to be expensive.  Well chosen paint colors do not have to be more expensive than plain jane vanilla or boring baige.  But, selecting a modern sophisticated color palette for your apartment unit or complex is not an easy task.  But the results you will receive in a memorable apartment product or cohesive branded marketing materials are worth the extra effort. 

  • The color must be neutral enough to enable residents to decorate around it.
  • But it must be more than white so it has personality and a liveliness.
  • It must be fresh and modern so it does not appear old and outdated.

The colors must be practical and cost effective.

  • You do not want to be in the position of having to repaint entire apartments each time you experience a turn-over in apartments because the wall color fades or shows wear and tear at a unusual level.
  • You must be able to successfully touch up slightly worn or damaged walls.
